Baking

Lots of baking going on! My sister and I are having our first Big Fat Greek bake sale this weekend. My kitchen was busy all week and it sent me right back to childhood when all the women in the family were baking nonstop for the holidays. The menu includes Baklava (of course), Koulourakia (twist butter cookies), Melomakarona (syrup dipped spice cookies), Kourambiethes (powdered sugar butter cookies) , Karithopita (walnut cake) , Revani (orange semolina cake). The season has begun!
